Its not always wrong. After all, in an earth where resources are limited and wants are unlimited, there should be some factor which determines their distribution.
Unfortunately though, the concept of equality never exists. Some people are more equal than others. Some people are more dominant than others. Some people are more ruthless than others. Some people are more farcical than others. And of course, some people are more intelligent than others.
In our quest to consume as much resources as possible for our luxurious lives, we end up depleting the resources at a ridiculous pace. Our wants are never limited. We are doing a big disservice to our forefathers who have conserved these resources for us as well as to our successor generations.
